This basement remodeling project included:

• Containment of work area from the rest of the home which was occupied during this basement remodeling project in Arlington Heights, IL. This included draping entrances with zipper access and sealing off air ducts and HVAC returns vents.
• Removal and demolition of old wooden paneling and the old drop ceiling.
• Installation of new drywall ceilings, soffit covering and walls. New drywalling includes hanging, taping and sanding.
• Removal of old wood doors and replacement with new 6 panel doors and updated Schlage Door Knobs
• Removal of old dirty carpet and replaced with “Coreluxe Vinyl Planked Wood Flooring” with moisture protected underlayment.
• Removal of old 1/2 inch floor trim and replaced with new 4″ wooden floor trim and 1/4″ Shoe Board.
• Removal of all of the old outdated electrical fixtures and replacement with new Decora Plus Rocker Light Switches and Decora outlets.
• New Drywall Ceilings and Walls including taping and painting.
• New Canned Lighting by Licensed Electrician.
• Painting of new drywall ceilings, soffits and walls.
• Painting of all doors, door trims and floor trim.
